Casino technology and content supplier IDX Games says it has secured an agreement to supply its “X-Trend” system to the upcoming Westside Resort in Manila, a new casino complex backed by Travellers International Hotel Group Inc.
In a Wednesday announcement, IDX said that when the venue opens later this year, it will feature 250 gaming tables equipped with IDX’s display hardware and software. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Westside Resort Manila is to be realised via an entity called Entertainment City Resorts Corp. Project backer Travellers International is also the operator of the Newport World Resorts casino and leisure complex in the Philippine capital Manila.
According to IDX’s press release, Westside Resort’s management conducted a review of multiple display products before selecting IDX’s offering, citing customisation capabilities as a key factor.
Rhoda Lopez, chief gaming officer of Westside Resort, said in prepared remarks IDX’s system was chosen for its “striking aesthetics” and ability to deliver a tailored solution for the casino floor.
Beyond the graphic design, IDX’s “technological architecture played a crucial role in the selection process,” she added.
IDX describes the X-Trend product as its flagship display platform for table games, designed to enhance visual identity and player engagement.
The Westside Resort is scheduled to open to the public later in 2026, according to Travellers International.
