WMS Gaming highlights seminar contribution

WMS Gaming Inc, a Scientific Games Corp company, is highlighting two “must attend” seminars during Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2014 at which WMS will have input.

WMS, a specialist in casino slot machines, said that in addition to new games, platforms and technologies that the company will display at G2E – held from September 30 to October 2 at Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada – it will have involvement in two seminars at the conference portion of the event.

At ‘Leveraging your brand: how to build multi-platform content that drives revenue’, held on Tuesday, September 30 at 2pm in Titian 2301, Matthew Weiner, creator, executive producer, writer and director of the successful U.S. television drama ‘Mad Men’, will be a speaker. WMS has a licensed slot product based on the Mad Men series.

WMS will also have involvement in the seminar ‘Strategies and Insights: How to Keep Players in the Game’, held on Wednesday, October 1 at 11.45am at Veronese 2504. There, Allon Englman, senior vice president and design chief of WMS, will be on the panel.

Mr Englman will discuss key findings from an extensive study that reviewed the challenges affecting slot revenue performance across the industry and the factors contributing to this trend.

The panel will also discuss how casino operators and gaming equipment manufacturers can work together “to offer an entertainment experience that is designed to attract newcomers, engage casual players, keep core players happy and provide financial gains for casinos”, states WMS.
