GLI marks 25 years, highlights professional services

Gaming Laboratories International LLC – celebrating 25 years of operations this year – will mark that milestone during Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2014 by reminding customers and potential customers about the full range of its services.

The company said in a statement previewing its G2E 2014 booth: “…in addition to its unsurpassed range of services, including land-based, lottery and iGaming testing and certification, GLI offers a wide range of services…such as training, professional services, consultation, auditing, IT [information technology] security audits, rule-writing and field inspections.”

GLI’s professional services division has four main areas of services: project management; governance, risk and compliance, including World Lottery Association Security Control Standards (WLASCS) and ISO 27001 information security audit and certification; ‘GLI University’ training; and technical services.

The GLI University programme was set up to help regulators keep as up-to-date as possible in new technologies that are developed and introduced.

“We also help new regulators understand the testing process and how accurate, thorough testing benefits their jurisdictions,” adds the company.

GLI University conducts local sessions, regional training and an annual regulators’ round table.

The company has 21 laboratory locations spread across Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, North America and South America.

GLI says it is the only global organisation of its kind to hold U.S. and international accreditations for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, 17020 and 17065 standards for technical competence in the gaming, wagering and lottery industries.
